As a Retail Credit Specialist, you are to manage tasks as required across various initiatives sourcing data from a number of sources, delivering fact based analysis and insights, and predictive models, following to principles and standards that are in line with business strategy, responsible lending, financial goals and agreed risk appetite
About YouTo grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Educated to degree level in a numerate, statistical, or commercial discipline
- Effective people and project management skills. Can evidence successful end to end management and deployment of a solution under pressure
- Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as k-NN, logistic regression, Random Forest, gradient boosting, deep learning, etc.
- Experience in common data science toolkits, such as Python, R, including associated frameworks/libraries, with good scripting and programming skills
- Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.
- Knowledge of various SQL and NoSQL database structures and proficiency in using data extracting languages, particularly SQL.
