About The Role
Role Location: 833 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008
Role Type: Permanent, Full-Time
As a Manager, Governance and Risk Committees, you will be responsible for the effective, compliant and efficient management of the relevant Australia Retail and Commercial Risk Committees, including acting as Secretary. You will continuously improve operation of the committees enhancing value add for committee members and ensuring committees meet BEAR obligations and other regulatory requirements as well as Company Secretary Office guidelines. You will also ensure key governance activities relating to Australia CRO BEAR Accountabilities, support AR&C Credit and Financial licensing activities and key attestations such as CPS220 are conducted and performed in line with ANZ and external requirements.
Your key accountabilities in this role will include:
Managing AR&C Risk Committees - CRC and ORCC,- in addition to secretariat functions the role also provides alignment and enhancement to committee operation, including guidance and advice to other AR&C committee management teams e.g. APC, ERGF and RMFs.
Actively reviewing, challenging and ensuring papers are fit for purpose, action items are executed appropriately and charters are aligned as well as implementation of BCG recommendations where relevant. Involvement in other Management Committee papers and CRO report. Involvement in APRA meeting papers.
Managing AR&C Attestations CPS 220 (also Retail KMRO), APRA delegate, Global policy reviews and other regulatory obligations
Assist in Management of Licensing- ACL attestation and AFSL and Responsible Manager Obligations including CPD
Managing Risk Management Governance Forum for Australia and Digital Risk
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have skills, knowledge and experience in the following:
Tertiary qualified, proven experience in Operational Risk, Compliance and/or related disciplines
Qualifications and relevant experience in Company Secretary, risk, legal, compliance or equivalent
Ability to build and maintain relationships and influence internal and external stakeholders and influence/negotiate change
Experience in developing processes and guiderails and driving efficiency, effectiveness and improvement through test and learn
Able to manage priorities and conflicting issues in a professional/risk based manner
Proven ability in committee management
Excellent communication skills.
