About the Job
Our Finance department is currently looking for an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join the team on an ongoing, part-time basis. In this role you will be instrumental managing the accuracy of financial statements and underlying financial processes and controls, establishing compliance with these, as well as developing the associated reports.
As the Senior Financial Accountant, you will directly support the Financial Reporting Manager and take ownership of the more complex processes and material balances. Alongside this important piece of work, you will act as a subject matter expert within the Financial Control Team, mentoring and coaching your junior team members on their daily work as well as looking for opportunities to improve on processes and procedures. Working in a collaborative team, you will bring your expertise in delivering operational excellence and embedding process, as well as your advance stakeholder management skills, to drive improvements in processes and policies.

About you
To be successful in the role, you will have:
- Membership of Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (CA) or Certified Practicing Accountants Australia (CPA)
- Excellent knowledge of local market statutory reporting requirements
- Substantial experience working in a large and complex organisation
- Experience of driving change, delivering operational excellence and embedding process and control improvements into finance and business operations
