The ANZ Markets Project Delivery Assurance Manager role is part of the Project Delivery Assurance (PDA) function within ANZ Markets Change and Analytics. The role is responsible for ensuring the ANZ’s Markets project portfolio is delivered consistently with ANZ’s delivery and control standards, including those imposed by ANZ’s Cyber security teams, Operational/Technology Risk, Compliance, and our Bank’s Regulators.

Some key deliverables/capabilities of the individual within this role includes:

  • Throughout project lifecycle, ensures that business change is delivered consistent with ANZ policies & regulatory framework and within acceptable risk appetite, consistent with ANZ’s Operational Management Framework (I.AM)
  • Creates and maintains outstanding relationships with ANZ Markets Project Managers, Group Information Security Office, Operational and Technology Risk, In-Country Compliance, Senior Business Stakeholders and other sign-off authorities within the Bank
  • Enable the Head of ANZ Markets Change and Analytics to discharge their responsibilities in delivering project change consistent with Bank risk/control requirements, by working directly with the stakeholders listed above
  • Resolves conflict and ambiguity between change delivery objectives, ANZ Group policies/standards, Regulatory requirements and the realities of practical implementation
  • Drives process improvement and efficiency in delivery of Information/Cyber Security requirements through established precedents across Global Markets Platforms
  • Makes commitments for delivery and is accountable for delivering own activities within agreed timeframes to the standard required at the bank.
  • Works autonomously while taking a collaborative approach to actively contribute in the team’s successful delivery of assurance program.
  • Provide guidance to the business on operational risk and assurance related matters. Influence key stakeholders in promoting a responsible risk-taking, compliance and governance culture.

About You
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Familiarity with Global Financial Markets assurance/audit/control and risk management environments, including those for Technology, Cloud and Data risk/control
  • Comfort in working autonomously with Business and Technology stakeholders, with accountability to Project/Program Directors
  • Knowledge and implementation of Operational Risk Management frameworks that cover end-to-end risk identification, assessments and management
  • Strong analytical skills. Ability to influence and negotiate with both internal and external stakeholders in achieving successful project/change delivery
  • Familiarity with ISO 27001:2013 and ISO 31000:2018 - highly regarded
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)/Certified Information Security Manager(CISM) - Highly regarded
  • Knowledge and/or experience of relevant APEA regional Data privacy and regulatory frameworks/guidelines including those by Monetary Authority of Singapore and Hong Kong Monetary Authority - Highly regarded.
