  About the role

As the Coordinator, Education you will support the planning and delivery of strategic and operational education activities and initiatives aligned to the Education Plan. You will work to coordinate both communication and engagement activities and resources to support stakeholder participation in engagement with education strategies, events, policies, frameworks and tools.

Working in this role you will provide event management and administrative support for activities such as the RMIT’s Learning and Teaching Conference, Communities of Practice and other events. As the Coordinator, you will also be required to coordinate and support operational planning and reporting processes in alignment with RMIT and Portfolio planning and reporting cycles. You will also work to support continuous improvement through streamlining processes, communication and support services to ensure simplicity, consistency and clarity.  

Key accountabilities as a Coordinator, Education:

  • Provide coordination and support for the design, planning, execution and evaluation of strategic and operational education activities and initiatives 
  • Work with the broader Studios team to develop digital resources and communication materials for Studios strategies, initiatives and services
  • Support strategic, governance and operational reporting including mapping reporting requirements across the calendar year and supporting delivery of reports on schedule and to a high standard 
  • Support the delivery of academic capability building and rewards and recognition activities and initiatives

About you
  • Strong coordination skills and experience and the ability to apply these skills to a range of planning, engagement and project activities
  • Ability to deliver high-quality engaging communications across multiple mediums for various audiences and stakeholders. 
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse and interpret a wide-range of information from different sources, identify and manage complex problems, issues and risks, and to develop solutions.
  • Experience of developing high quality documentation of complex business processes.
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills and the ability to conceptualise and create high quality, targeted reports, plans and presentations for a range of different purposes and audiences

Qualifications
  •  Degree or postgraduate qualification and/or extensive relevant experience.

Note: Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children check.
