About the role:

As the Education Product Designer and Facilitator, you will be responsible for designing and facilitating a range of educational offerings in enterprise and entrepreneurial skills. These experiences will be for various learner segments, including but not limited to; RMIT staff and students, RMIT alumni, professionals and start-ups. This role will allow you to be innovative within the experiential learning space and will see you constantly strive to deliver valuable and engaging learning experiences.

These experiences will be designed, launched and delivered using collaborative, lean and iterative product management approaches, emphasising quality of experience and learning outcomes. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of some of Australia’s emerging leaders and innovators.

About You:

To be successful in this position, you will be passionate about entrepreneurship, innovation and future-ready skills and will champion interest in these domains. In addition, you will have experience of but not limited to:

  • Dynamically facilitating experiences, leading groups and managing learning environments;
  • Possess a learning mindset that is continually open to feedback, iteration and improvement;
  • Ability to utilise lean and iterative product development principles, as well as experience in design, delivery and evaluation of professional educational products;
  • Experience and competence in one or more of the following areas: emerging tech, startups, research commercialisation, human-centred design or systems thinking
  • Negotiating with, and the influencing of, stakeholders to enable evidence-based outcomes in learning and capability development;
  • Ability to work closely with subject matter experts to develop learning content and experiences, as well as work within a team and independently to meet deadlines in a fast paced and dynamic environment.



Qualifications

Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience.

Note: Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children check.
