Commercial Credit Assessor (Customer Service Expert)
Responsible for accurate and timely completion of Credit Assessment for Small Business Owners for needs such as Asset Finance lending, cash-flow products and residential home loans.
Provide a high level of customer service by accurately dealing with all enquires in a friendly and timely manner.
Consistent credit decisions to balance commercial imperatives with risk appetite.
About The Role
Role Location: 833 Collins Street, Docklands VIC (currently working remotely)
Role Type: Permanent, Full-time
As a Commercial Credit Assessor, you will primarily be responsible for exercising sound judgement in the assessment of Small Business credit and/or Asset Finance applications. Your focus will be on making timely, accurate and consistent credit decisions for new and increased customer lending requests. You will build your skillset to have the ability to assess a vast array of applications, including Commercial investment proposals, Company Home Loans and Home Loans for Medico clientele. You will also have the opportunity to learn broader skills to support the entire Business Owners customer value chain.
Your role will involve you working collaboratively in customer value teams to deliver outcomes for our small business customers, supporting their lending and credit requirements as well as servicing their day to day banking needs. You will also work closely with internal frontline, Brokers, Mobile lenders and Branch network bankers and ensure all necessary actions are conducted in a friendly and timely manner within agreed Service Level Arrangements.
About You

Previous exposure and experience in areas such as lending, credit and/or risk.
Ability to interpret and analyse financial statements.
A commercial acumen that balances the needs of our customers, our people and our stakeholders.

Enthusiasm to keep your customer value team operationally fit, to ensure we are where our customers need us most.
