What’s your mission?

As a Cloud Infrastructure Test Lead your mission is to help design and deliver a modern banking platform and supporting suite of services that provide simple and secure ways for our customers to engage with the bank.

Your mission is to help design and deliver customer experiences that empower our customers and partners to interact seamlessly with ANZ with high levels of trust.

You’ll employ your testing, leadership and engineering skills to help reshape how we deliver high-quality customer experiences faster and more efficiently to our customers, and will bring a creative, customer focused mindset to the role

What will your day look like?

• Design and drive implementation of a cloud infrastructure testing approach from Pull Request to Production
• Coach engineers on what good looks like from a testing perspective
• Work with cloud infrastructure engineers to help establish a resiliency testing capability
• Assist with defining and validating sets of Non-functional requirements
• Build scripts and tools to implement and continuously improve testing outcomes
• Refine acceptance criteria and provide estimates for work

What will be in your toolkit?

• At least 10 years’ experience working in a test engineer role, with at least 5 of those as a Lead.
• Have a proven track-record setting up testing practises to support continuous delivery across a large piece of work
• Experience with at least one programming language (Java, JavaScript, Python, Golang)
• Hands on experience with Kubernetes based Cloud Infrastructure deployments/ design (Azure/ AWS/ Google)
• Hands on experience with testing infrastructure/policy as code (Conftest, Sentinel, OPA Gatekeeper)
• Hands on experience with monitoring tooling such as Dynatrace, Splunk and InfluxDB
